I can't agree more to the Chinese saying that you can always find a golden house within a book( sorry don't really know how to translate) but ya, it's "su zhong zi you huang jing wu"! Has done alot of reading recently, learnt alot from there. And for those who don't know me... i am a boring person and only reads non-fictional books. In my opinion, reading story books ( as in those romance, thrillers, mystery etc) is a waste of time (ya, i'm that boring), and it's only through non-frictional that you can learn from people's knowledge, experience and lessons. Anyway, i am not sure if you know what i'm talking about, but if you haven't had the habit of reading, do pick up a good book this weekend and you will be amazed by the amount of knowledge you can gain from it :)
Remembered the last time i was with you was when i had a off day? Despite the heavy rain that day, i insisted on going out, even though that was a few hours of shopping but i guess that was better than nothing. As promised, i've uploaded some pics for you ( was raining very heavy, so ya...these are the pathetic few shots)
Our first destination that day was to the temple, despite the heavy rain, we still went to pray. Are you touched by our sincerity? Actually wanted to have a buffet, but later settled for hawker nearby because we were starving!!!! :( Surprising, the food were good (yumy yum) or were we too hungry??? It has been some time since i went there (bugis Village now know as bugis street), it has changed quite a bit and the Level2 was impressive! so many new shops... Daddy strolling along rows of shops, hello!!!! you at clothes or look for girls???? Hee.... he bought this for me, cute ya? I still can't bear to eat it.... Alright, 1 sept was Teachers' Day, my three Chinese students gave me all these, weep weep....*so touch* Realised all these are food? And ya your eyes are not playing tricks on you, that's instant noodles and pop corn(he made it)!!! Ya, they think i'm too skinny (which i don't think so) See my favourite pooh baby? It's in white! And this is the second...errr...third time Charissa is giving my a baby pooh...just because i showed her my collection of 20 over pooh the last time. And the perfume is from...hmmm...Charlene. This is from Shannon, messy handwriting? wahaha. i told her my guess was Cholcolate....... And yes i was right!!!! clever me.... Even though these are some little gifts, but it really brighten up my day. It's really the thoughts that counts. And Happy teachers Day to all tutors and teacher out there :)
